I am an American Teacher living in China. My first graders last year showed me your books and I seriously read them each one, like maybe an hour at a time. I loved the Shark Attack one, that was by far the most unbelievable story I ever read in my life. It lead me to find the book "Close to Shore", a non-fiction account of those attacks, I'm sure you've read that book. Oh and also I literally just read the Grizzly bear one yesterday. AMAZING yet again. I have some suggestions for you. I hope you'll consider.
I SURVIVED The Galveston Hurricane, 1900
I SURVIVED The Sinking of the Lusitania, 1915 (Sunk by a torpedo)
I SURVIVED The Dust Bowl, 1935
I SURVIVED The Anchorage Earthquake, 1964
I SURVIVED The 12th Street Riot, 1967 (in Detroit)
I SURVIVED The New York City Blackout, 1977 (There were a lot of reports of arson and looting and crime)
I SURVIVED The Oklahoma City Bombing, 1995 (I know you did the one about 9/11, but I always wondered if you'd do this one too)
I SURVIVED The Boxing Day Tsunami, 2004
I SURVIVED The Haiti Earthquake, 2010
My favorite character in your books is definitely Chet in the Shark attack book. Keep Writing. Can't wait to read the one about D-Day!
